Challenge
I was hired as a freelance designer by a marketing firm that was understaffed and needed help with the redesign of decisionpt.com. During the project, we faced several challenges. One was balancing the website’s aesthetic appeal with a user-friendly interface, ensuring brand consistency while enhancing the user experience. We also had to balance modern design elements with retaining familiarity for returning visitors. Optimizing the site for responsiveness across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices required consistent performance on various screen sizes. Finally, integrating new features like enhanced search and client management tools demanded careful planning to avoid performance issues, while improving readability and conversion.
Solution
Collaborating closely with the marketing firms developer, creative director, and account management team, we addressed several challenges. The redesign balanced aesthetic appeal with a user-friendly interface, aligning with the brand’s identity while improving the user experience. The site was optimized for responsiveness across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices. I built all designs in Figma, creating a cohesive visual experience and component library for consistency. New features, such as enhanced search and client management tools, were seamlessly integrated without compromising performance, resulting in a modern, responsive website that boosted readability and conversion.
